blogger fashionradi jewellery for every occasion

Accessories can make or break an outfit, and yet, we often skip the baubles and rely on our belts and bags to complete a look. Well, blogger Radostina Blagoeva of is here to school you on the importance of jewellery and how it can literally take your look from nice to amazing just by picking the right pieces.

Yes, there’s always the risk of going OTT or just not enough to make the right kind of statement with jewellery, and you must invest in key pieces that can help you dress for the occasion. The idea is to fit in by standing out.

Jewellery has the power to be this one little thing that can make you feel unique.”

And on that, we hand over the reins to Radostina who is breaking things down into five looks you’re most likely to need accessorising for.

Jewellery For The Beach

My tip is to keep your beach accessories at minimal, but still cute and fun. Like the carefree atmosphere that the beach brings, your pieces should be just the same—effortlessly boho chic.

One of the first jewellery pieces you’ll need to add to your beach look is a simple, yet eye-catching choker, like this mini tassel choker. Isn’t it just perfect? The tiny bead accents are there to shine, but the choker is also very lightweight which is key when you’re at the beach with the sun shining down on you. As one of the trendiest summer pieces this season, a choker can easily be layered for a more dramatic effect for, let’s say, a fun evening out and about town.

Another piece of jewellery I personally always wear (never forget to take with me) when I’m at the beach is a set of stackable bracelets like this colorful set with beads, tiny charms, and tassels.

To go along with that bracelet, I’ll add a pretty star charm bracelet and another colorful, tropical piece to tie it all together. Just imagine how #beach-ready these three pieces will look all stacked together? You’ll have that pop of color, those summer vibes, and a cute arm candy to look at.

Jewellery For Work

When going to work, you always want to show your professional side, so you’ve got to keep everything clean and polished.

One of the jewellery pieces that are ideal for work is a set of pearl studs. They are a beautiful accent to any outfit, look classy, and give you that sophisticated appeal.

To those gorgeous earrings, add a pretty statement necklace in a neutral palette like white, black, silver, gold, ivory or nude. The only time I recommend going for a pop of colour with your neck piece is if your outfit is monochrome.

Jewellery For Brunch

For when you’re enjoying some down time with your friends, probably dressed in smart casuals like denim shorts and a cute off-shoulder top, pick chic pieces because brunch is where you can really have some fun with jewellery.

DKNY Soho Silver Stainless Steel Bracelet Strap Watch In Rose Gold, £125;
Boohoo Lexi Layered Plunge Necklace, £5

My go-to would be a pretty layered necklace with a long drop chain. It’s effortless, yet so interesting.

And, of course, a watch for your day look is so smart and on point. This rose gold one that looks like a bracelet is perfect in every way. Luxurious, but not extravagant, and doubles up as jewellery.

Jewellery For Cocktails Or A Dinner Party

As most of us typically opt for one of the 50 shades of black for our night-out ensembles, I recommend adding some pizzazz with your jewellery. Try these fringed tassel earrings for size. They’re playful, fun and totally on trend.

Also, midi rings or stacked finger rings are a good look—especially if your nails are on point. Mix and match silver and gold because they actually complement each other beautifully. For example, I’d wear this gold face statement set with this pack of silver rings.

In addition, I’d add a cuff bracelet which fits right in at dinner parties. The idea is to choose one accessory as the main highlight of your outfit, in this case, the earrings, and keep all the other jewellery clean and simple instead of skipping them altogether.

Everyday Jewellery

Whether you wear jewellery on the regular or not, we all have a favourite piece that we love and care for more than any of the others in our box. It could be a gift from someone special, something fuss-free that feels lightweight, a lucky charm, perhaps…
