rihanna manolo blahnik so stoned collection

Say hello to the Cinderella shoes of 2017, courtesy Rihanna x Manolo Blahnik’s So Stoned collection. Scratch that. We think even Cinderella would be jealous of the Poison Ivy gladiators.

Yes, those are the gorgeous pair of heels women around the world were swooning over when Rihanna released her ‘Wild Thoughts’ music video last week. Sure, there were the Balenciaga leggings and Alberta Ferretti mini dress too—but, baby, those shoes!

Decked in crystals and set upon Lucite or alternatively Perspex clear heels, Rihanna’s third collection for Spanish shoemaker Manolo Blahnik is without a doubt our favourite—not just of the series, of the year.

The limited edition boasts of four shoe styles of which two are mules of varying heel heights (Spice, and Baja Princess), one’s an ankle strap high-heeled sandal (Purple Chalice), and then there are the mid-calf gladiators (Poison Ivy).

The four bejewelled styles feature Swarovski crystals in bright ruby red, sapphire blue, emerald green, citrine yellow, or amethyst purple.

The So Stoned collection hit the stores end of last week and can also be bought online at ManoloBlahnik.com. They’re priced from £950 to £1,745.
