Urban decay nail colour vintage udxx collection

I hate cosmetics companies. They get you addicted to the perfect lipstick or nail polish and then, six months later, they discontinue it. You have to buy your favourite colours like you’re storing up for the Apocalypse.”

Recognise this? When Denise Hennessey (played by Lisa Kudrow) laments about her makeup woes in PS I Love You, you can’t help but agree that the struggle is real. So, let’s take a moment to remember all those we lost (RIP MAC Marilyn Monroe Lipsticks). The silver lining? Urban Decay is bringing back some old favourites just in time for the holiday season, and we intend to stock up like there’s no tomorrow.

UD XX—that’s the 20th Anniversary Edition by Urban Decay you need to be looking out for. After releasing two eye palettes (UD XX 20 Years of Beauty With an Edge, and UD XX Vice Ltd Reloaded) back in February this year, the brand is now bringing back the very edgy UDXX Vintage Nail Colours. Glossy, thick, vibrant—totally 90s in their metallic blue, green, purple and silver hues, these were discontinued two decades ago.

Oh, how we’ve missed them. Of the 12 shades, it’s Frostbite (metallic blue) and Bruise (a shifty colour that changes from red to green) that are our favourites. Notice how Halloween-appropriate they are? Even the bottle caps are topped off with skulls.

Add to the mix the UD XX Vice Lipstick Vintage Capsule Collection (also just released) and you’ve pretty much got all the beauty must-haves to get your ghoul on.
